Agreeing to these terms

These terms are an agreement between you and A&W Homecare LLC, doing business as A+W Cleaning Service, including A+W Auto Detailing ("we," "us"), about your use of this website. By using the site, or by sending us a request through it, you agree to these terms and to our privacy policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.

About this website

A+W Cleaning Service is a family business in Harbor Springs, Michigan, offering home and business cleaning, construction cleaning, windows, power washing, and auto detailing at our shop. This site describes our services, lets you request a free estimate, apply for a job, nominate someone for a donated cleaning, and, once giving opens, give toward a cleaning for someone in need. The information on it is general and can change.

Using the site

You may use this site for any lawful purpose. Please do not:

• Use the site for anything illegal, or to harass, threaten, or harm anyone.
• Send false information, impersonate someone else, or send spam or automated requests.
• Try to break into, overload, or disrupt the site, or get around its security or spam protection.
• Copy, scrape, or reuse the site's content, or use it to build a competing service.
• Upload or send anything that contains viruses or harmful code.

We may block access to the site for anyone who breaks these rules.

Prices and estimates

We price cleaning after we talk with you or take a look, because every home is different. Any detailing prices, packages, and times on this site are starting points to help you plan. Your actual price depends on the home, vehicle, and work needed, and is confirmed with you before any work begins. Estimates are free. Sending an estimate request does not book a service or commit you to anything.

Appointments are confirmed with you directly, along with any rescheduling or cancellation terms.

Job listings

Job listings, posted pay, and benefits describe open roles in good faith. Sending an application does not guarantee an interview or a job, does not create a contract, and roles can close or change at any time.

Gifts and nominations

Gifts made through this site pay for cleanings for people in need, chosen by A+W. A+W Cleaning Service is a business, not a charity, so gifts are not tax-deductible. Card payments are handled by Stripe, which keeps its standard processing fee from each gift. Monthly gifts continue until you stop them, which you can do any time from the link in your receipt or by contacting us. Gifts are not refundable once a cleaning has been scheduled with them; if a gift was made by mistake, contact us within 14 days and we will make it right.

Nominating someone does not guarantee a cleaning. Please nominate only people you know, share only what they would be comfortable with, and ask them first if you can. We reach out to nominees with care and keep nominations private.

Text messages

A+W texts. If you check the optional text box on our estimate, job application, or nomination form, we may text you about your request and your job, such as scheduling, arrival times, and updates. We do not send marketing texts.

• Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply.
• Reply STOP to stop texts at any time. Reply HELP for help, or call 231-881-5949.
• Agreeing to texts is not a condition of any purchase, and you can always reach us by phone or email instead.
• Wireless carriers are not responsible for delayed or undelivered messages.
• See our privacy policy for how we handle your number. We never share it for marketing.

Our content

The words, photos, logos, and design on this site belong to A+W or are used with permission, and they are protected by copyright and trademark law. You may view and print pages for your own personal use. Please do not copy, change, republish, or sell them without our written permission.

What you send us

When you send us a request, a message, photos, or other information, you confirm it is accurate and that you have the right to share it, and you let us use it to respond to you and provide our services, as described in our privacy policy. If you send us ideas or suggestions, we may use them without owing you anything.

Other websites

The site links to and shows content from other companies, such as Mapbox and Google Maps, Stripe, Facebook, Instagram, and TikTok. We do not control those sites and are not responsible for their content, policies, or availability.

Disclaimers

We work to keep this site accurate, secure, and available, but it is provided as is and as available. To the fullest extent the law allows, we do not promise that it will always be accurate, complete, uninterrupted, or free of errors or harmful code.

Limits on liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, A+W is not responsible for indirect, incidental, or consequential losses that come from using or being unable to use this website, and our total responsibility for any claim about the website is limited to $100. These limits apply only to your use of the website. They do not change your rights under any separate agreement with us or under laws that cannot be limited.

Your responsibility

If you misuse the site or break these terms, and that leads to a claim against us, you agree to cover our reasonable costs of dealing with it, including legal fees.

Michigan law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Michigan. If you have a concern, please contact us first, and we will try to resolve it with you within 30 days. If we cannot, the dispute will be decided in the state or federal courts serving Emmet County, Michigan, and you and we agree to those courts.

Changes and general terms

We may update these terms from time to time. We will post the new version here with a new date at the top, and it applies from that date forward. If any part of these terms cannot be enforced, the rest still applies. If we do not enforce a term right away, we can still enforce it later. These terms, together with our privacy policy, are the whole agreement about your use of this website.
